Community Consulting Teams of Boston Awards a Consulting Project Grant to Urban College of Boston

January 31, 2022 – Boston, MA – Community Consulting Teams of Boston (CCT) has selected Urban College of Boston (UCB) as one of its 8 pro bono management consulting projects for 2022. CCT has awarded over 200 consulting grants to Boston-area nonprofits since its inception in 1990, providing an estimated $25 million value. UCB was chosen among Boston-area nonprofits based on its demonstrated need, organizational stability, and readiness to plan and implement change. The CCT project will focus on supporting the organization’s marketing strategy.

Urban College of Boston opens new pathways to opportunity through individualized, supportive, and multilingual education that prepares a diverse community of learners to pursue career advancement and transform their lives. A private, non-profit college accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE), UCB grants Associate of Arts degrees in Early Childhood Education, General Studies, and Human Services Administration and offers seven certificates. As part of the consulting grant, CCT plans to develop a marketing segmentation strategy to improve UCB’s outreach to current, former and potential students.
