General Studies Associate Degree
The Associate of Arts in General Studies degree provides a blend of general education core courses and electives aligned with individual goals. The General Studies degree provides students with an opportunity to plan, analyze, and execute on their individual and career goals.
There are 60 credits required to complete the General Studies associate degree including program concentration courses in:
General Psychology
Computer Information Systems
Cultural Aspects of Families and Children
College Writing I and II
Additional areas of focus courses reflect the student’s field of interest in Management, Social Sciences, Humanities, and more
Access to internships and job placement sites are readily available through various childcare programs, human service agencies, mental health sites and other relevant organizations.
