HUMAN SERVICES CERTIFICATE

The Human Services Administration certificate program prepares students for employment in social service agencies, schools, and centers. Enrolled students develop the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in this field.

There are 21 credits required to complete the Human Services certificate including program concentration courses in:

  • Professional Seminar I

  • Introduction to Human Services

  • Case Management

  • Counseling Methods & Interviewing Techniques

Interested in an associate or bachelor’s degree? All courses in the certificate program will transfer into the corresponding associate degree program at Urban College of Boston. In addition, transfer agreements with other colleges allow students to continue their education. See our College Transfer Pathways page for information on how your associate degree at UCB can transfer into several bachelor’s degree completion programs.

My favorite thing about Urban College of Boston is the support they offer students both academically and financially, and the communication between students and teachers.
